Tile & Slate Ventilators

The new range of “Cowl Type” and “Low Line” Ventilators from Thysis has been developed from 20 years experience in the roof ventilation industry in association with most of the leading manufacturers.

Cowl Type Tile Ventilators
The Thysis cowl type range of tile ventilators offers unobtrusive designs in most manufacturersʼ profiles and colours. They have a patented ʻanti-splash sleeveʼ device which incorporates fly-screen protection and are suitable for pitches of 20° and above.

USE: Permits entry of air into roof space for cross flow ventilation or for use with mechanical extraction or natural ventilation.
MATERIAL: Moulded in “HIPS” with UV stable paint finish to suit most colours.

TCV10: 10,000mm2 ventilation. Suitable for use with pitches of 20° and above.
STR110: Square to Round pipe adapter to suit 110mm flexi-pipe.
TCV20: 20,000mm2 ventilation. Suitable for use with pitches of 20° and above.
STR160: Square to Round pipe adapter to suit 160mm flexi-pipe.

Low Line Tile Ventilators
The Thysis low line ventilators have been designed to be both unobstrusive and practical. The 10k ventilation area is recessed within the profile, and has no sharp edges to trap leaves and any other debris significantly reducing the risk of blocked ventilation and are suitable for pitches 17.5° and above.

USE: Permits entry of air into roof space for cross flow ventilation or for use with mechanical extraction or natural ventilation.
MATERIAL: Moulded in “HIPS” with UV stable paint finish to suit most colours.

Plain Tile Ventilators
The Thysis plain tile ventilator is an injected moulded product offering precision and strength. The ventilation area has no sharp edges to trap leaves and any other debris significantly reducing the risk of blocked ventilation. They are designed to suit all plain tiles to BS402 part 1 and can be fitted without cutting the tiling battens and are suitable for pitches of 30° and above.

PCV7.5: 7,500mm2 ventilation.
RTR110: Rectangle to Round pipe adapter to suit 110mm flexi-pipe.

Raised Cowl Slate Ventilators
The 10k and 20k cowl type range offer unobtrusive designs, have patented “anti-splash sleeve” devices and flyscreen protection. 10k square to round adaptors and flexible pipe for natural ventilation or mechanical extract and 20k square to round for “passive stack” if required.
